The Milpitas Veterans Commission will each year acknowledge a United States Military veteran who has given unselfishly to the Milpitas community other than their job-related occupation. The 2025 Veteran of the Year will be recognized at the Veterans Day Ceremony taking place on Tuesday, November 11, 2025. Nominees must have either an honorable or general discharge status. Proof of discharge must be provided via a copy of your DD Form 214. Nominees will be judged on current, as well as past evidence of leadership and achievements. All nominees must reside in Milpitas.
